“If you can dream it, you can do it”.
Working and experiencing life abroad, difficulties encountered in either long travels or sports, have taught me an important lesson:
limits are only within your mind.
Before acknowledging my real path, and deciding to innovate the scuba diving world with Bonassi products, I have traveled extensively
many continents working as diving instructor and managing countless activities related to my passion: the Ocean.
In my view, there is always a way to strike a deal, but you need to put yourself in the others shoes, stand points and prospective.
By embracing each other understanding and adding in a bit (or a lot, it depends) of imagination, great dreams can become great realities.
Since I began venturing into the submarine world, my life changed completely.Understanding the duality of the universe, connecting with the aquatic beings, and challenging my body to exist underwater. It’s been one of the best experiences in my life, and sharing this with different people has become my passion.“I believe there’s no better cure than let yourself go with the flow of the water and letting go of the control of your body”
Since I was a child and until today, the sea has given me so much, it’s my training place, professional development, workspace, and sustenance.
What’s so fascinating about the sea, it’s how is a hostile, friendly, and indifferent place, all at the same time.
I always enjoyed aquatic life, I love and respect the sea. My favorite sound in the world is the waves of the sea or the ocean.
I had photo sessions underwater due to work, and I always wanted to learn more about the submarine world.
I decided to obtain open water diving training, and when I arrived at Quintana Roo, I took the advanced training. In Playa, I practice freediving with several schools, diving in the ocean, coral reefs, and cenotes, I swam next to whale sharks, and now all of it’s a part of me.
Bonassi allows me to do all I love in the ocean in total safety and comfort!
When I stepped into this world, I decided to put all my heart, soul, and respect into it. My dreams to train in freediving surpassed my fears based on the immensity of the ocean I felt back then. Now that I have achieved my goals in freediving and underwater fishing (catches and trophies) I decided to share this same impulse, emotions, and achievements with the people who want to dive into this world, I became an underwater fisherman guide as a profession, very few people can say they can do what the love for a living, and I’m lucky I am one of those.
I was born in Colima, Mexico. I always loved the sea and my journey in the freediving world started in 2017 when I moved to Playa del Carmen to practice this breathtaking sport in the cenotes in the Riviera Maya. Since then I managed to descend 100 meters in a single breath, and also achieved 5 national records. I love sharing my passion and teaching anyone who wants to enjoy the submarine world safely.
Born and raised in Patagonia, Francisco is a lover of all outdoor sports and has worked in theater, radio, and TV throughout his career.
After winning the TV show Big Brother in Argentina in 2015, he toured the Riviera Maya and dedicated himself to studying marine
conservation.
He currently resides in Cozumel, Mexico with his two young children, where he works as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and an
adventure lifestyle social media influencer (with more than 600K followers) for brands in Latin America. “I want to introduce the younger
generations to the underwater world and teach them how to respect and preserve it,”
My name is Eleonora, a marine biologist, diving instructor, and underwater photographer. I grew up in back the mountains, but since I was a little girl, I fell in love with the ocean, its colors, inhabitants, and the sense of freedom it gives me every time I swim on it. I traveled from Italy to Australia, the Bahamas and now here in Mexico I found Bonassi, and I’m thankful for the magnificent gear!
My name is Travis Xander. I am one of the creatives on the Bonassi team. My career as a freedive instructor, filmmaker, and underwater
photographer takes me into new currents everyday. Once I am in the water with my camera, there is a state of flow. With experience, my
instincts guide me to where I need to be. As I frame my image, I am not looking for figures of light, instead; I make the darkness
conscious. To express the rapture of life within yourself is always what I strive for. Thank you Bonassi for your support and for your
innovative gear that inspires me to achieve my goals.
